Welcome to Casa Sorel!

You are in Borgo Tre Terre, perched on the western shore of Lake Como. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Legnone and Legnoncino, and the entire Alpine range that encircles the Alto Lario.

Casa Sorel is a strategic base for exploring the wonders of the area: in addition to Lake Como, it’s easy to reach Valtellina, Valchiavenna, and nearby Switzerland. Here, extraordinary landscapes, quaint villages, and endless opportunities for hiking, sports, and food and wine tours await. Or, simply, you can relax on our terrace and by the pool.

Casa Sorel has a unique feature: it’s built around a Crotto, a natural ravine where a constant-temperature air current blows—the Sorel, known as the “Breath of the Mountain.”

The house extends over three floors, culminating in a splendid terrace. At the entrance, a large stone and wood space, illuminated by large windows, leads to the two bedrooms, one of which has a shower. Going downstairs, you access the Crotto and the bathroom carved into the rock. A stone staircase leads up to the upper floor, where you’ll find a spacious living room with a sofa bed and an open-plan kitchen. Finally, the terrace: the ideal place to admire the view and enjoy breakfast, lunch, a snack, an aperitif, dinner… or a starry night.

We recently renovated the house, preserving its rustic soul—made of stone, wood, and light—while still providing all the amenities necessary for maximum comfort.

Guest Access
We provide our guests with a single private parking space, and there are several free parking spaces nearby marked with white lines. Luggage can be unloaded at the nearby public parking lot “Borgo Tre Terre.” From there, the house is accessed via a short (all downhill!) path through the village.

Other things to keep in mind:
The tourist tax is €1 per person per day, excluding certain exempt persons, such as:

– minors under 14 years of age;
– disabled persons who are not self-sufficient, with appropriate medical certification, and their companion;
– Members of the State and Local Police Forces, as well as the National Fire Brigade, who are staying overnight for official reasons.

The tax will be refunded upon arrival at the apartment.

Pool: Casa Sorel’s pool is shared with five other apartments. Pool opening dates vary from mid-May to early June.
